Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VisiRing's products, services, platform, and mobile application (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the VisiRing Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

2. Description of Service

VisiRing provides a cloud-based platform that enables users to register physical QR tags, manage linked items, and receive contact from third parties (finders) who scan those tags. The Service includes a web dashboard, mobile application, and associated physical products.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
  • One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Harass, stalk, or harm other individuals
  • Collect or aggregate personal data about others without consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent security measures
  • Spam or send unsolicited communications through the contact bridge

5. Physical Products

Physical tags (stickers, keyrings, cards) are sold separately and are subject to our shop's terms of sale. All sales of physical products are final. Damaged or defective items may be replaced at our discretion within 30 days of receipt.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
  • Refunds are issued at our discretion. Contact billing@visiring.com for queries.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, software, and materials on the Service are owned by VisiRing Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

You retain ownership of any content (photos, item names, descriptions) you upload to the Service. By uploading, you grant VisiRing a limited licence to use that content to deliver the Service to you.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. VisiRing does not guarantee that:

  • Lost items will be recovered as a result of using the Service
  • Finders will contact owners in all cases
  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VisiRing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data, lost profits, or loss of property.

Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount paid by you to VisiRing in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to others or to VisiRing. You may terminate your account at any time from account settings or by emailing support@visiring.com.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notification with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
